Getting Outside

One of the things I love about getting out in nature is the almost instantaneous RELIEF I feel. Without thinking I find myself sighing deeply, shoulders relaxing, stress lifting. It is effortless and spontaneous There is something light and connective about this, a syncing up if you will with the rhythms of the earth.  It feels good, like a return to something. 

What about you? They (neurobiologists) say that even walking among trees is good for mental and emotional well being. I certainly can vouch for the balance it brings to my own being.  I hope you take time to head outside for even a moment today.  You deserve it.
